What We Do

Direct legal services, systemic advocacy, and know-your-rights education working together for lasting change.

Direct Representation

Our attorneys and legal fellows represent low-income individuals in civil matters where the stakes are highest: keeping a roof overhead, staying together as a family, and earning a fair wage. We handle cases from intake through resolution, including litigation when necessary.

Policy Advocacy

We translate the patterns we see in our caseload into policy recommendations. When dozens of tenants report the same building code violations, that is not just a legal case; it is a policy failure. Our advocacy team works with legislators, regulatory agencies, and coalitions to address root causes.

Community Education

Knowledge is a form of protection. Our know-your-rights workshops, tenant clinics, and multilingual resource guides help community members recognize problems early and take action before a crisis escalates.
